Hubbub, Summer 2011

It was a lovely sunny evening when every member of RFoD Inner Wheel met for the induction of the new President. Sherry’s garden looked colourful and we were able to sit and enjoy a lovely supper among the flowers.

In the past year the Club was able to donate to: James Hopkins Trust, the Forge, Alzheimers RFOD Group to help fund tea dance/memory cafe, FOD Childrens’ Opportunity Centre, FOD Age Concern, Great Oaks Hospice, Donkey Sanctuary Sidmouth, Salvation Army FOD towards refurbishment of new premises in Broadwell, Parkinsons FOD towards relaunching local group in August, Local Womens’ Refuge, plus 100 Christmas Parcels.

Overseas Charites included: Impact Bangladesh, Assoc., President’s Charity – Osteoporosis, Addis Ababa Fistula, District Chairman’s Charity - MacMillan Coffee Morning, WaterAid Coffee Morning.
